On June 11th, we attended RDAR’s RoundUp 2025 at the Heritage Centre in Cremona. The event brought together producers, researchers, and innovators from across Alberta, and it was a great opportunity for our team to learn more about the current priorities and challenges in agriculture.

We especially enjoyed the panels on practical on-farm research and routes to market. These sessions helped us better understand how producers are navigating today’s changing landscape and how applied research can support more efficient and sustainable farming. It gave us a lot to think about in the context of our own project.

We also had some great conversations with exhibitors about water treatment and agricultural waste, and we came away with new ideas and perspectives to bring back to our team.

Thanks to RDAR for organizing such a welcoming and informative event. We were glad to attend on behalf of our team, and we’re looking forward to staying connected and learning more throughout the summer!

We honor the Indigenous peoples who have cared for the lands of Alberta since time immemorial, including those from Treaties 6, 7, and 8, and the historical Northwest Métis Homeland. We acknowledge the First Nations, Métis, and Inuit who have lived here for generations, expressing gratitude to the Knowledge Keepers and Elders, both present and past. This acknowledgment is a gesture of reconciliation and respect for their territory.
